NATURE’S WARMTH AT YOUR DOORSTEP

Imagine inhaling a fresh, clean breeze from a remote island far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a universal desire to connect with nature at its core, to feel closer to the wider natural world, and experience the well-being that comes with it. Research suggests that being in touch with nature helps us feel good, offering a much-needed respite from our daily lives.

We all dream of a relaxing holiday by the beach, feeling the cool ocean breeze, walking along coconut tree-lined white sandy beaches, and marveling at nature's beauty. At CoCo.Nut, this is exactly what we experienced during our explorations last year. We discovered that nothing compares to sipping juice from a fresh coconut, soaking in the ocean’s waves, and basking in the sun's rays.

But who says you need to travel far to connect with nature? From the comfort of your metropolitan home, you can escape urban stress by incorporating raw textured decor like coconut bowls or candles. Our world’s ecosystems are under threat from climate change and pollution. At CoCo.Nut, we promote Eco-Living, offering sustainable products that allow you to enjoy nature without guilt. It's never too late to save our precious world, one step at a time.

Did You Know: Coconut Shells are Eco-friendly, Biodegradable and Sustainable when Recycled?
Did you know that coconut shells are eco-friendly, biodegradable, and sustainable when recycled? In rural South India, locals use coconut husks for oral hygiene due to their antimicrobial properties. Most people only use coconuts for their meat and juice, but the shells can be incredibly useful if recycled correctly. You're going to love coconuts even more after hearing our story.

HOW IT STARTED
Hi there! My name is Amy, and I’d like to share my coconut journey with you…
I was fortunate to spend my childhood in New Caledonia, surrounded by the natural beauty of the South Pacific islands. A quick Google search will show you the breathtaking white beaches, crystal-clear turquoise ocean, and lush coconut trees that form a paradise on Earth.

Later, I moved to Australia and worked in corporate jobs for over 15 years. It felt like being teleported from an island paradise to a labyrinth of projects and deadlines. However, these jobs allowed me to travel the world, experience different cultures, and collect unique souvenirs. During the pandemic, as we were confined to our homes, I found solace in these memories. A wooden box from Bali could elevate my spirits and bring back nostalgic feelings.

How did you all cope during the lockdowns? Many of us adopted new hobbies, from getting new puppies to obsessively collecting indoor plants or diving into DIY projects. I did all of the above! I got two lovely pandemic puppies, Pablo and Coco, and expanded my indoor plant collection significantly.

While searching for rare plants and unique planters, I remembered my childhood in New Caledonia. Locals would transform coconut shells into elegant planters, totem bags, and other useful items. This sparked a passion in me for reusable coconut shells, eventually leading to the creation of CoCo.Nut.
